Meghan Markle, The Duchess of Sussex, has recently been involved in the launch of a new charity cookbook, Together: Our Community Cookbook, that features a collection of recipes collated by a group of culturally diverse women from the Hubb Community Kitchen in London.
The Hubb Community Kitchen was created by women who after the tragic Grenfell Tower fire, became displaced and needed a safe place to create and prepare food for their families. Together, the women would share the kitchen and not only swap recipes from their many cultures, but also heal together and become a part of a strong and supportive community.
Together: Our Community Cookbook features 50 unique recipes and a beautifully worded foreword by the Duchess:
Excerpt: “Together is more than a cookbook. This is a tale of friendship, and a story of togetherness. It is a homage to the power of cooking as a community, and the recipes that allow us to connect, share, and look forward.” – The Duchess of Sussex.
The cookbook is available at all major stores, and all proceeds will go directly back into the kitchen where it all started.
